 Introduction

My name is Darrell Wallace. I live in a beautiful part of God's world. The commonwealth of Kentucky is the place of my physical birth and spirtual rebirth. I am married with two grown children who are both faithful to the Lord. My wife, Robin, and I have been involved in the Lord's ministry for many years.

I am blessed to be your Study Helper. My prayer is that we will get to know one another as we study God's word together. I have developed this avenue of accessing your WBS lessons to facilitate the convenience and effectiveness of your study.

How To Use This Student Portal

This WBS Student Portal is designed for your convenience to access your WBS courses through my personal website rather than receiving them through email. However, if you prefer to receive them through email, this will still be an option. Just let me know, if you prefer this option at any stage of your studies.

To help you navigate through the WBS Student Portal, you will need to remember these instructions.

1.  You should have been provided a WBS Student number from World Bible School. If you do not have a WBS Student number, please go immediately to WBS Student Application.

2.  Your WBS Student number is your username. (For example - wbs123456)

3.  The password for the WBS Student Portal will always be -  acts238 - unless otherwise notified by me, your Study Helper. Your login should look similar to this:

username:  (your wbs number) (example: wbs123456)

                            password:  acts238

4.  Once you have logged into the WBS Course Opening Page, you will notice the list of WBS courses and lessons. The password access codes have been removed. I simply ask that you take these courses in the order they are listed before going to the next lesson. NOTE: If a lesson is submitted out of order, it will not be graded until the previously required lesson is completed and submitted for grading.

5.  Click (tick) the lesson series you intend to take. This will bring up that lesson's access page.  Choose your lesson and follow the instructions.

How To Take These Courses

1. These courses "build" in the same way one builds a _house._ We want to help you fully understand and complete one lesson before you move on to the next lesson.

2. The first time you read a lesson think of it as a _river._ The parts that you read are not separate pools. They flow together, making one stream of thought.

3. Think of your deeper study as _searching for gold._ The lesson is a tool for helping you find the "gold", the truth, of what the Scriptures teach. Don't accept a teaching simply because some person says it. As you study the lesson, examine the Scriptures for yourself (Acts 17:11), so that you accept only the pure gold of truth.

4. Think of the Self-Exam Questions as _testing your gold._ Testing tells a miner how much real gold is there. In the same way, the questions at the end of the lesson help you know how much Scripture you have really learned.
